Visiting Hoi An ancient town in the summer vacation his year, all tourists will be offered a variety of tourism promotions in sightseeing, accommodation and expenditure.
Promotions include a free ticket when a group of 15 tourists book a visit to the old quarter in Hoi An, while a five-member group staying at a home-stay or hotel in Hoi An will be awarded one ticket to visit the old quarter.
In three months, from June to August, all restaurants and tailors will discount 10 to 20 percent, while hotels and resorts offer 10 to 40 percent for tourists during the promotion period. All groups of 10 to 13 tourists booking a tour and staying in Cham island on Saturday will receive three free tickets to explore the World Biosphere reserve on the island.
To meet the tourists’ demand in summer holiday 2015, Hoi An city will organise many cultural programmes including: the Friday Street Food Festival at Dong Hiep night market, the Hoi An Carpentry Crafts Day, the Beach Tourism Day on Cham Island, Lantern releasing in the Hoai River and Wedding Photos at Hoi An exhibition.
With the support from Mangroves for the Future (MFF), the Cham island marine conservation centre has coordinated with local residents to implement a project restoring coral reefs around the Cham Island to attract more tourists, especially those fond of diving.
